Yum was engaged by RMIT to support training staff to design and develop a totally online version of their successful face to face Diploma of Community Development. The online version was to be made available to learners through RMIT's involvement in the Open University Australia consortium.

Yum worked with training staff and subject matter experts to rework the face-to-face model for a structured online learning experience that included self paced activities, collaborative group work and regular workshop style webinars.

Yum's role in this process included:

Developing a strategy for a fully online version of existing successful face-to-face course delivery.

Instructional design - content, collaboration and assessment.

Writing engaging eLearnng activities PD in the use of webinar technology for teaching and learning.

Storyboarding the self paced eLearning resource.

Strategies for supporting remote learners.
