The CBAA (Community Broadcasting Association of Australia) asked Yum to come onboard to advise them about how best to create the project eChamps for 20 young broadcasters from around Australia. The project was about supporting young people to develop skills and resources to make engaging captivating content by broadcasting live online. Yum brought the theme of 'change' as a way to contextualise the technology and to support change back at their home stations.
It was a national mentoring programme in social broadcasting. it was fabulous. Many of the young people involved have gone on to bigger and more broadcasty things.
